Good Cop, Bad Cop: A Welcome Surprise

Whenever we notice a police officer in the rear-view mirror, our hearts jump. Our palms begin to sweat and we immediately wonder what we have done wrong to deserve such an unwelcome visit. Of course, this is a completely natural reaction. None of us want to receive a ticket or a hefty fine. This is particularly the case when we are younger and a bit unsure of our driving skills. Still, there are times when encountering an officer of the law is not necessarily a bad thing. This very same lesson was learned when a young girl named Audra was recently pulled over by a local police patrol. Let's take a look at what happened next.

Shock at First

Audra was on her way to school in the town of Saukville, Wisconsin. Everything seemed to be going just as planned when she suddenly noticed flashing lights and a police siren approaching from behind. She naturally pulled over and waited for the officer to approach her window. Officer Brandon Depies begins with asking her for her driver's licence and proof of insurance. As per normal procedure, he takes these documents back to his vehicle for a bit. The entire time Audra is left wondering what she did wrong and the type of ticket she is soon going to receive. However, there is much more than meets the eye in terms of this "normal" traffic stop.

Not a Normal Ticket

After a few more moments of white-knuckle anxiety, officer Depies approaches her car once again. He returns her licence while stating the traditional "I've got some good news and I've got some bad news" line. The bad news was that she would be receiving two tickets. The good news was that they were not quite the type she had been expecting.
